5. Processing of a user’s personal data is necessary to complete the tasks that we have agreed to perform in the interest of the public (also known as former classmates) and in the best interest of our official authority as representatives of our classmates.

We only collect data that will help us achieve our purpose of gathering information on former classmates to contact them regarding Class Reunions, and other events that are related to the website users.

Your data is viewed only by The Officers of the Cumberland Valley’s Class of 1991 Reunion Committee, and volunteers assigned to perform certain tasks necessary to prepare for Class Reunions and/or updating the Cumberland Valley Class of 1991 website. Our volunteers have agreed to maintain confidentiality when working with the personal information of their former classmates. Any volunteer found to not be maintaining confidentiality, will be removed from whatever task they may be working in, and disciplined by the Officers of the Cumberland Valley Class of 1991 Reunion Committee, which may include dismissal as a volunteer.

While we are taking all reasonable and necessary precautions to protect and secure your personal information and data, as well as ensuring all users or our website are protected, there will always remain a risk of harm from forces outside of our control. The internet can be very insecure at times and we can not always guarantee the security of your information and data beyond what is reasonably expected and practical.

In the Body of the email, please tell us which of the above areas you would like to opt out of, when it comes to the collection of your personal information and data.

Please be advised at this time, The Cumberland Valley Class of 1991 Reunion Committee does not have a Privacy Officer. This is due to the size of our not for profit organization, as well as the information we collect is for a very small number of users and visitors.
